Flat Earth Workshop is manned by Douglas Ritterling, a former major-market radio and television personality during the 70's and 80's, and since 1988, an Industrial Designer.

 

You might have heard him on WING/Z93 in Dayton, WCOL/92X/WNCI in Columbus, or 105KITS/Live 105 in San Francisco.

 

You might have seen him as a news anchor on WKEF TV-Dayton 22, or hosting music shows on TV 20 in San Francisco.

Doug is eternally curious about all things mechanical, historical and artistic. He satisfies these curiosities by creating mechanical art- bespoke and vintage guitars, minature automotive engineering, mechanical watches and industrial design.
